How can American Conquest be used to teach?
American Conquest comes with over 50 single player historically based missions over a range time periods from all different perspectives. Played may be asked to play as the Native Americans in one mission and the British in the next. This gives a much more complete picture in the minds of students of the events that they are learning about. It is much easier to remember the details of a battle when you have fought it for yourself. If the provided missions are not enough, the game includes a robust map editor that can be used to create missions for specific course needs.
