How big was the universe before the Big Bang?
Its size was indeterminate so far as we know. In some theories such as Inflationary cosmology, at 10^-35 seconds after the Big Bang, the quantum patch out of which our universe emerged was about 10^24 centimeters across. But as to what happened earlier than that we cannot say with any confidence. We do not even know if physics allows us to ASK such questions!!
