How big is Waldorf?
Waldorf has approximately 600 undergraduate students, about 40 of whom are international students representing 15 or more different countries. One advantage of attending a small college, versus a larger university, is the type of instruction students receive. Excellent teaching is Waldorf’s highest priority. Waldorf’s student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1, which means students receive personal attention from their instructors. Because of its small size, students get to know each other and the faculty and staff well. Another advantage to a smaller campus is the close proximity of classrooms to residential halls and other areas of the campus. The campus is located in the heart of Forest City and everything students may need is within easy walking distance of the campus.
