How are the units sorted?
All base units are alphabetically sorted, instead of scrolling up and down you can select one of the units in the dropdown list, then press the first letter of the unit on your keybord to navigate to the unit. Here is an example of how the units are sorted in the simple area converter. All derived units are placed under the corresponding base unit, here is an example of how the derived units are placed in the normal area converter. In each advanced converter, all derived units of the selected base unit are sorted as shown below.
