How are inquiries handled?
A. Inquiries are received through the internet e-mail, phone, and letters. TARE saves children s caseworkers time because it links them only to families that are approved and have home studies. An inquiry form has been added to each child s profile in the web site beginning with the children registered in February 1998. The inquiry from approved adoptive families will go directly to the child s TARE contact. This will avoid delays in getting the inquiry to staff. All potential families are provided with information and referral services.
