At DF/Net, all faxes, including re-faxes are received electronically as images, sorted by study and form, ICRed, and presented for data entry. Once data entry enters the key fields of a re-faxed CRF, DataFax immediately recognizes this as a re-fax. Upon request, data is brought and any QC notes are brought forward from the previous version of the data record into the new record. Any existing QC notes on the data records (tagged in blue) are reviewed against the changed re-faxed image. If an appropriate response has been received, the QC note can be resolved. If not, the QC note can be updated and/or reissued.QC notes remain unresolved until either resolved by the site, or resolved as part of study close out.
