How are business problem statements and business requirements formalized?
Business problem statements and business requirements are the first steps in developing SOA Adoption Blueprints. These problem statements are described in a Business Architecture document. This type of document aims to define the services, interactions and actors that are required to meet specific goals of an organization or group of organizations. It aims to clearly identify the interaction points between organizations and the reasons behind those interactions. Services at this level may or may not be delivered by IT, and represent clear domains of controls within an organization based on the business functions being delivered.
