How are appointments and initial visits handled?
It is recommended that you make an appointment with the appropriate buyer, before visiting our division, to ensure that ample time is available for you. Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. Initial contact should be made with the buyer shown on the commodity list. Please be prepared for your sales call. While we actively encourage the exchange of technical information with other departments, only designated purchasing personnel are agents of the County authorized to commit for the procurement of commodities and services. After review of your product, it may be desirable to then refer you to the departments, that use such materials. We welcome your comments and suggestions to improve any County operation.
