How are applicants selected for an interview?
Each application is reviewed by the program director and a committee selected by the program director. Approximately 50 applicants are selected for review based on the following criteria: curriculum vitae (including research in medical school, presentations at local and national meetings, Alpha Omega Alpha membership and other extracurricular activities and interests), performance in medical school, letters of recommendation, performance on the USMLE examination and a personal statement.
