How a waiting list is prepared?

0

Initial Waiting list: The master waiting list of applicants is prepared at the commencement of the Allotment year which is valid during its current only. Each month the waiting list is updated by way of addition of new applicants and deletion of those who have been allotted accommodation in the previous month. For the purpose of preparing the waiting list for Type-I to IV accommodation, the length of service is the criteria, i.e. the date from which the Govt. servant has been continuously in service under the Central Govt. or State Govt., including the period of Foreign Service. The waiting list for Type-IV (Spl.) and above accommodation, including hostel type, is prepared with reference to the earliest date from which a Govt. servant has been continuously drawing emoluments relevant to a particular type or a higher type in a post under the Central Govt.. or State Govt. or on foreign service. Change Waiting List : A change waiting list, area-wise/floor-wise is maintained on first come
