Hi Doug, I would check your cable connections first to make sure everything is secure. Try unplugging the cables to the cd drive and then plug them back in again. They do have CD cleaning discs, but it’s probably not worth the money to get them. If everything looks good, it’s probably the cd drive that’s failing. Get another new cd drive for under $20. If you can, I suggest getting either a CD burner or a DVD burner. Hope that helps. Kevin.
