HELP ME Growing hair long?
Be nice to your hair. Your hair falls out naturally on its own, but you might be pulling it out a little faster with the things you do. The gentler you are with your hair, the less of it you’ll yank out.Don’t pull your hair into tight ponytails or cornrows. Use butterfly clips and loose braids instead.Brush it carefully. If you have wavy or curly hair, you should use a wide tooth comb while your hair is still wet, since brushes can disrupt curl pattern and cause frizz. Detangle your hair slowly and carefully. Start by combing out the last few inches, and gradually work up. This won’t change how your hair grows, but careful combing can prevent your hair from breaking. Brush your hair before you shower. 1. Everyone’s hair growth rate varies. Therefore, it is impossible to give an accurate answer to this, regardless of what anyone else on Yahoo! Answers says. On average though, it will take about 9 months. Apparently, you can speed up the process by using horse shampoo which can be obtained from your nearest pet store. I would recommend you conditioned well after this. 2. Take vitamins. It will also help your nails. Anything with avocado or olive oil will moisturise and help hair growth. Nuts are also recommended. 3. Even though this will increase the time it takes to grow, occasionally get a very slight trim. This is just to remove split-ends. Condition your hair regularly and refrain from over brushing. In fact, only brush your hair a small amount. 4. Yes, I straighten my hair everyday, and know many people who do it more than once a day. I recommend heat protection though. May I also recommend hair extensions. They look real now adays.
I’m pretty sure that everyone grows their hair at a different rate… I think that food with some protein can help stimulate hair growth, but don’t take pills or stuff. Maintaining long hair… can’t you just shampoop and condition every time that you wash your hair? By the way, I heard that it’s not good to wash your hair everyday, I’m not saying leave a 3-day gap or anything, but maybe one saturday when you’re not going anywhere you don’t HAVE to wash your hair… something about the natural oils. And I don’t know anything about straightening your hair but can’t the heat give you split-ends? EDIT: Cutting hair does not stimulate growth.
