Marathon, FL: The Monroe County Commission has agreed to rename Key Vaca, the island that contains the city of Marathon to Marathon Key. Something to do with tourisim. Go figure. Editorial Comment While I think “Key Vaca” has a nice ring to it, the renaming of the island to Marathon Key make sense. I will miss saying “Key Vaca” though.
