You then need to connect the supply pipes to the tap, which may require some altering if replacing an existing set. Ensure your pipes are plumb and secure to ensure they look as good as your tap. We’ve always recommended fitting isolating valves to both hot and cold pipes for future maintenance. Once this is done, it is vitally important to ensure that all copper wiring is earth bonded according to electrical regulations. The final step in your installation is to switch your water supply back on together with your isolators (preferably one isolator at a time so you can check for leaks on each pipe separately) and check for any leaks.
