Don Airsoft Guns hurt?
Not really! Airsoft hurts far less than paintball. Paintballs have a very high mass, as they are so large. Airsoft bbs travel just as fast, however they only weigh on average 0.2g, so they don’t carry much power when they hit you. If you are wearing the correct safety equipment at most a close-range hit will leave a small welt, which usually disappears after a few minutes and may sting for a few seconds. BBs rarely break the skin, and most medium range shots don’t hurt at all. This is in great contrast to paintball, where it is not uncommon for players to be knocked senseless or go home with large bruises on their limbs!
