Doesn the Boundary Committees Charter clearly state that boundary decisions should be based on whats optimum for home property values?

The Boundary Committee Charter does not address the need to do what is best for property values. The objective of the Citizen’s Boundary Committee is to ensure that campus boundary changes provide an optimum attendance pattern for each school affected while considering campus demographics, district growth, and the financial impact of the proposed changes, particularly in the area of transportation. Many e-mails have been received regarding the impact on property values if boundaries are changed. The Boundary Committee does not make decisions based on what is best for property values. When a home is purchased the school attendance zone is not concrete and can be changed at anytime.
