Fraternities are a business after all. The best thing about paying dues in a fraternity is that every dime you pay goes towards something you do. Socials, fun recruitment events, formal dances, activities with sororities, and of course we have to pay fraternity dues as an organization to the university and to our International Headquarters. It’s not “buying your friends “–as some people (Non-Greeks) call it–it is paying for a lifetime of brotherhood and friendships with brothers around the world. Networking goes along with Theta Chi, the money you pay in college for dues won’t compare to the dividends it could pay being a Theta Chi when looking for a job; there are many well-established brothers in the business world that would love to employ brothers from the prestigious Theta Chi Iota Beta chapter.
