These degree programs require formal admission to the University of Florida. Applicants must meet UF’s general admission requirements as well as those specified by the individual degree program. Certificates require fewer courses than degree programs and do not necessarily require formal admission to UF (although a department or college can make that a requirement). However permission from the department or faculty coordinator is required before starting a certificate program. These courses include college credit as well as non-credit professional and personal development courses. They may be web-based, or delivered by other technologies, such as print-based (correspondence) materials.
