Yes. The Stylus 710’s Super Macro mode has an operating range of 3.2″ to 23.6″. This means that the camera must be between 3.2″ and 23.6″ from the subject in order for the picture to be in focus. The zoom is fixed while in Super Macro mode and cannot be changed. To use Super Macro mode, set the mode dial to any shooting mode except “GUIDE”, and then press the Left arrow on the arrow pad. Use the Up or Down arrow to select the Super Macro icon (flower preceded by the letter “s”).
