The residency encourages the use of PDA’s in the academic setting. A stipend of $100 dollars is provided to residents interested in purchasing a new PDA. A formal project in PDA training and use is being developed in the family medicine clinic and involves educating our residents in PDA usage. Residents are provided with a PDA didactic during their orientation, and they are given time and resources to receive PDA training during their R1 year.
