Does the Library have computers available for word processing and the creation of other documents?
The Library does not presently offer computers equipped with Microsoft Office business applications (e.g. MS Word) at this time; however, the Friends of the Torrance Library have recently donated appropriate software and hardware to enable such business applications at all library locations. Installation of new computers is planned during the next two to three months. Presently, the Library has free public access computers and there are several online word processors that can be accessed via the Internet such as Google Docs.
