Does the GPA program have priorities?
Yes. The program has an absolute priority which states that projects must focus on one or more of the following geographic regions of the world: Africa; East Asia; South Asia; Southeast Asia and the Pacific; the Western Hemisphere (Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean); East Central Europe and Eurasia; and the Near East. The program also periodically has invitational and competitive preference priorities. Please check the current fiscal year’s Federal Register notice and application package for details.
