No. RoadSync is not middleware and does not require the installation of additional servers or software on the Microsoft Exchange Server. RoadSync is a client application that installs on the handset and directly communicates with the Exchange Server via the Exchange ActiveSync protocol over a secure SSL/HTTPS connection. Some specific features may require the latest service packs or versions of Exchange to be installed, but these are provided by Microsoft and not DataViz.
