Absolutely, it works, until you’re sick to death of special K and go back to eating like a normal human being and put all the weight back on and then more weight because your body decides it needs to start storing the food incase you starve it again. No diets work. I suggest trying to eat healthier all round and you won’t go hungry, you won’t get bored, you won’t go off the path and its not a diet. Maybe look on sparkpeople.com, they have a fantastic free site for support, nutrition ideas, excercise tips and healthy living pointers. Don’t waste your time, effort and money on a diet, especially not on one that’ll make you sick to death of cereal. Try eating a few meals a day, cut out simple things like suger in tea, or go low fat everything and walk more, do more, take some vitamins and maybe get a yoga or workout dvd, you’ll feel better for it.
Firstly, the ‘Special K diet’ is just something that some business people came up with to make the world think that they can lose weight easily – consequently running to the supermarket and buying tons of boxes of the cereal. Its all a money making scam. think about it. Secondly, yes it may work, but when the two weeks are over and you have dropped you jeans size (maybe) then as soon as you go back to eating normal you will put on all the weight you lost and more, because you metabolism has slowed down from having not enough calories. The best option, is to just eat healthily and exercise. Simple as that.
