In order for the ePrompter email notification program to work effectively, it is imperative that your email account is set up to display your messages with the date in descending order – meaning that the most recent message should be at the top of the message list. Fortunately, almost all of the email services supported by ePrompter set their message lists in descending order as the default, so chances are you don’t have to do anything. And in the cases of AOL and POP3 accounts, ePrompter has been programmed so that they do not have to be adjusted for this. However, if you have an account other than these two that is currently set to display your messages in ascending order, you will have to go to your email account’s web page and modify the appropriate setting to change it to the descending order option.
