Does Doyon Utilities have an Educational Assistance program?
DU has an established educational assistance program to help eligible Utility employees develop their skills and upgrade their performance. All full-time regular employees who have completed a minimum of one (1) year of service are eligible to participate in the program. Under the program, education assistance is provided for courses offered by such accredited institutions as the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Courses must be, in DU’s opinion, directly or reasonably related to your present job or in line with a position that DU believes you can reasonably achieve.Q: Presently we are required to have personnel trained for reading the stacks in the event the bag house fails. This Visible Emissions training is held every 6 months for re-certification or certification.
