Does anyone know where I can download knitting patterns for free?
You can find hundreds of free patterns online all over the place! Google is your friend — use it! My favourite sweater is the Baby Surprise Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmermann. It’s in a couple of her books at your library, and you may find it available online too. It is very simple to do — only the knit stitch, decrease and increase. Anyone can do that. It’s the most ingenious design! And they always look good, no matter which colours you use. Check it out. She also does a couple of other sweaters for babies, and she does them in a simple stitch. You’ll love her work!
