Does anyone know about UL certification requirements for importing LED bulbs from China?
This was selected as Best Answer Garnet: The UL standard governing LED bulbs is UL 8750 (attached). The manufacturer in China should be listed as compliant under this standard. You will want to build testing provisions into any agreements with Chinese manufacturers to ensure that they are in fact making the LED bulbs in compliance with the standard. [Factories sometime make the samples in accordance with the agreement and then substitute noncompliant products in the main run.
