Hot cider with mulling spices. My parents always served this at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Mom used a crock pot to keep it warm. They would buy apple cider in the fall and freeze it to be used during the holidays. The mulling spices come in a variety of flavors and are readily available. Our favorite was the one with cinnamon, brown sugar, and clove maybe. Warms everyone body, heart, and soul. And a little vodka, or apple liqueur never hurt anything either.
