For cohort one and two whole school reform schools that blend funds, a specific amount for professional development does not need to be identified. Professional development activities for these schools must be included in the approved Whole School Reform Implementation Plan. For midyear two and three cohort schools, funds for professional development must be identified. In either case, the LEA/school must ensure that the professional development programs at all its schools are comprehensive, on-going, and sustained.
