If you install Manifold System on an XP system, Manifold will automatically use Windows XP style. At some time in the future, as Microsoft moves its support framework forward, earlier releases such as Windows 98 and Windows 2000 might no longer be supported by Manifold. Therefore, users are advised to move to at least Windows XP for Manifold installations.
