Do Rapidcom modules require a high level of technical experience to operate? Should I have a field technician assigned to each mission to make sure everything runs correctly?
All Rapidcom modules are designed not to require extensive technical knowledge to operate. No field technicians are required to operate each module, and Comlabs has further taken the step of simplifying the operation of each unit to simply pushing a button. By simply turning on the Auto-Deploy Satellite system, users can establish a carrier quality LAN and access to the EMnet data stream, and Comlabs is in the R&D stages of being able to remotely configure and administer all radio equipment in the Rapidcom modules.
