Each morning a network account and mailbox are created for faculty, staff, and students that show up in PeopleSoft/CRS with active affiliations. 2. Each computer support group gets a list of the accounts created for their location that day. The supporters are responsible for authorizing access for the end users on this list. At LSUHSC-S, requests for approval to authorize are sent to the appropriate department hiring managers. If the hiring manager sends back an approval, the account is authorized. Authorizing the account includes inputting the local settings for the network account and specifying which applications the user needs. If the account is not needed, the supporter can mark it for deletion.
