Yes, all of the data stays on the CD, even if you choose “Copy to Hard Disk” when installing the stand alone CD. It will take up about 35MB of space once installed (The West Euro CD will take up about 475MB). The only time you don’t need the CD is if you are networking it and choose the option to copy the whole CD onto a network server.
