Well that depends on your current set up. If you have a wireless modem then no you don’t need a router. If you do not have a wireless modem then you need to invest in a wireless router. Any Mid-ranged Netgear, linkys, D-link are good routers for what you need. And yes you really do have to have a wireless router if you want to be able to connect wirelessly to your non-wireless modem.
