Children of divorce… does age matter?

0

I think at the end of the day it depends on how the divorce is handled around the kids and involving the kids no matter wether young, teen or older… each phase in a persons life is important and theres differend crap to deal with so dealing with a divorce at any age could be great/tragic no matter the age its how its handled and wether the other participants feel loved excepted wanted and still needed by both parties.

The older a child gets, the more resentful they get towards divorce. Younger children don’t understand like the other ones do. If the parents remarry the older children usually have an attitude toward the step parents involved.
