Can you take dilaudid if you e allergic to codine?
I am not a doctor or a pharmacist, so my suggestion is to contact one of those, but normally the would be “yes.” Codeine is NOT in dilaudid normally. It could be mixed with the drug, I’m sure. But I do not know of any dilaudid product that normally comes with codeine. There may be, but I’m not aware of any. There are medications that come with codeine as an ingredient. They are not as powerful as dilaudid however. These medications include Tylenol 3, among others. My suggestion is to contact a doctor, a physician’s assistant or a pharmacist.
