Can you breed a high yellow leopard gecko with two different morphs?

Yes and no. High yellows are genetically a line bred trait. So to increase the intensity of the coloration you will need to very nicely colored parents. However, you can still technically produce high yellows with only a single parent of that morph (assuming there are no hets competing for the phenotypic result) but they will likely be less yellow than the parent. The idea behind breeding is to increase the quality of a given morph (or create a new one altogether), so you would be best off investing in two quality high yellow parents to give you nice offspring. Line breeding is when you take two specimens that have a visual trait in common that you want to enhance. For high yellows (an example of a line bred trait) the yellowest of the yellow are bred together to create hatchlings who have more yellow than the parents. A high yellow bred to a normal will be a medium yellow as you have diluted the saturation of the coloration. It might still be a high yellow, but it won’t be of good qua
