This again will depend on the sealer used. The concrete itself will not burn, but depending on the sealer used the sealer could be scorched by hot pots and pans. Some sealers have very little heat resistance while others can resist hot pans with no problems.

Extreme heat (over 400º F) can damage the sealer. Inlayed steel or brass trivets can be designed into the concrete and provide a functional “hot spot”.
