Can Reiki attunements be performed distantly?
Yes, and distance attunements and healings are just as effective as those performed in person. Reiki Rays has performed hundreds of distance attunements for students all around the world, and we do so everyday successfully. Usui Reiki provides a symbol in Level 2 that allows for performing Reiki, including attunements, distantly. While there is great benefit in working with a local Master, receiving a Reiki attunement or healing in the comfort of home may be preferred by the recipient, as you can relax in your own sacred space, free of distractions, and prepare for your experience in your own unique way.
