Can NextAlarm.com monitor my security system over a cell phone, instead of a regular telephone line?
The Abbra Professional Series with its optional GSM unit can be monitored over the cellular network. We also have full support for three other major cellular communicator units: Uplink, Ademco AlarmNet-C, and AlarmPath. If your existing security system includes this equipment, then we are able to monitor it. The use of a cellular communicator costs $7.50 per month, in addition to our regular monitoring fees. There is no additional fee for monitoring of the Abbra’s GSM unit.
