Can Marijuana use cause death?
-Several international doctors have answered this question each with their own outlook on the use of marijuana. Doctors such as Thomas Geller, MD and Liliana Bachs, MD both claim that the intake of cannabis (marijuana) contributed to the sudden deaths of 7 different cases they oversaw. Cannabis was detected through blood analysis. Stephen Sidney, MD and Joycelyn Elders, MD both claim that marijuana has never been proven to cause a sudden death or deadly overdose. Marijuana has not been extensively tested and studied in the medical field in order to make a solid statement on whether it can or cannot cause death, but most all doctors would agree that it does hold a risk for death.
