skyDSL can be used onboard a vehicle or a car as long as these are not moving. As soon as you move your position (e.g. going to another camping ground) you have to readjust your satellite dish. In any case you will need a dial-up connection to the Internet. With skyDSL, you can use a mobile phone (GSM/PCN) to dial up. The maximum download rate we have been able to achieve during tests on mobile vehicles and boats was about 1.6 Mbps. This is due to the low speed of the mobile phone network (upload connection) and is not affected by the type of skyDSL tariff you have ordered.
