In Options | Preferences | General, there is a setting for “Silent Message boxes”. If this is enabled, it will prevent PowerTracks from making a beeping sound in most situations in which a message box is displayed. You can also turn off the audible alerts in Windows by going to the Control Panel | Sounds..
