Can I copy a DVD to one disk and keep all the extras too?
Most commercial movies on DVD are “dual layered”, which means they can hold twice as much information as the blank recordable DVD media available to consumers to copy DVDs. As a result, there is simply too much information on most DVDs to be copied with all the extras. You can compress a DVD movie to a single disk, but to do this you have to give up some of the extras. The more extras you keep, the lower the overall video quality will be. Any extras you include will play before or after the feature movie, depending on the order you select. As a result, you will no longer have the original menus. You will however still be able to keep the chapters, subtitles and audio language of your choice.
