We will be releasing a updated version of the RoadMentor that supports external antennas, which we will also release under the designation PAT-1000. Simply connect the MMCX (gold-tipped) connector of the external antenna to the MMCX receptacle on the back of your RoadMentor. There is a built-in magnet in the external antenna, so you can mount it outside your car securely. Please note that the PAT-1000 is only compatible with the updated versions of the RoadMentor.
