God can do nothing because god does not exist, based on the extant evidence. People can work toward making the world a better place, particularly if they stop spending so much energy worrying about an imaginary deity and a nonexistent afterlife and instead concentrate on the tasks at hand.

if God created the World, and sustains the world, and has been here forever…then i think God could eliminate all pain and suffering and then we would be all asking for millions of things just like little brats.
