Can foals be vaccinated?

No. Foals less than 4 months old are too young to develop a good immunity to the vaccination. Also they may have some immunity from their mother which will interfere with the vaccination. Where there are foals on a property, strict biosecurity measures will minimise the likelihood of infection.
