Can anyone help me with Microsoft Access relationships?
Without knowing how you have set up your database it is hard to help but Access does have a good tutorial and even if your tutor has not explained relationships, the tutorial will explain. Basically a customer can buy more than one product at the same time, can place any amount of orders on you at any time, therefore the main customer table which should just be name and address details would be linked to a sales order table or directly to the products table as a one to many relationship. If you had a payroll database, each employee is entitled to be paid once only at whatever interval therefore, the main employee details table would be linked to the payroll table as a one to one relationship. The scenario you have given is very typical so there should be no difficulty at all in your being able to sort it out for yourself.
