Can antimatter be stored?
It can be stored with electric and magnetic fields. In high energy particle accelerators, antimatter can be stored in a ring by magnetic fields (the antiparticles continuously loop around in a circle): this kind of device is called a “storage ring”. At low energies, antimatter can be stored in electromagnetic traps. Typically it’s difficult to attain long storage times for more than miniscule quantities of antimatter.
